About Us

The Jim and Mary Kearl Library stands out as the hub of the Cardston community. Over 1,200 individuals are library card holders.

Our collection is diverse. It includes 26,460 volumes, 1,596 spoken word/audio book sound recordings, 1.097 music sound recordings and more than 4,000 moving image recordings.

The Library is more than the sum of its collections. Its true value is realized through the staff, whose expertise and dedication provide users with excellent resources and services.

The Library operates under the Town of Cardston Library Board, whose responsibilities include approving library service policies, operating capital budgets and developing strategic planning documents for effective and efficient operations.
